Lodging

Floyd County supports a variety of local Bed & Breakfast, Lodge and Hotel accommodations. Call the center for more information or click here to see a list of partner accommodations.

Most local lodging facilities are handicapped accessible. Individuals with mobility restrictions should contact the lodging facility directly to discuss housing.

The Blue Ridge Parkway Rocky Knob Campground is open spring through fall. Please visit www.virginia.org or call (540) 745-9662 for availability and reservations.

Meals

In cooperation with several local restaurants, The Jacksonville Center offers meal services for classes which span the lunch hour. A staff member will take orders from a chosen restaurant at the opening of class, and deliver meals in time for lunch. Costs vary depending on the restaurant utilized.

There is a stocked soda machine on campus and a refrigerator is available for storage for students. Students are encouraged to bring a snack to share and a drink. Brown bag lunches are also welcome.
