How to Register
The Jacksonville Center offers 4 easy ways to register for classes:
It’s easy to apply for a class online and pay with check or credit/debit card:
1 – Browse classes by either date, media, or special programs. Choose a class by selecting your tuition option (Non-member*, Member, or Deposit) and clicking the “Add to Cart” button from the desired class description page. Add as many classes as you’d like for yourself and/or companion(s).
*If you are not currently a member of The Jacksonville Center, but would like to purchase membership while registering for classes, please follow the link at the bottom of the class description page to add membership to your purchase. A welcome letter and card will be sent to confirm your membership.
2 – Click the “Go to Checkout” button in the pop-up box or the Shopping Cart in the top right corner of your screen to proceed to the registration page.
3 – When you register for a class, you will be prompted to give information for up to four (4) students you are registering and for the purchaser of these enrollments. Please provide each student’s name, age (IF under 18 at the time of the class), and the classes for which that student is registering (using the class code found by the title in each class description, e.g. BLK081610).
4 – Please be sure to familiarize yourself with the Jacksonville Center’s policies regarding class registration, cancellation and withdrawals. AFTER you have read our Terms and Conditions please check the associated box and click “Make Payment.” You will be taken to The Jacksonville Center’s PayPal interface, where you can pay with credit/debit card or from your checking account.
5 – When you have confirmed your purchase in PayPal you will receive an automated email confirming that we have received your online registration request and any tuition due. Once we’ve manually confirmed your enrollment in a class, we will email you a confirmation which will include a billing statement, class materials list and additional information concerning your stay in Floyd.

If you are just stopping by or would like to visit the center to register for classes, please feel free to come by. Friendly staff are on-hand during business hours to help you fill out your registration form and take payment with cash, check or credit/debit card at the center’s office.
If you would like to pay by mail (check, credit card or money order only), please fill out the available registration form (1 for each class) and send it to the indicated address. Please make sure to send your registration early enough that it will arrive at least 2 weeks before the first date of the requested class. If you are not sure if it will arrive in time, please call the center to indicate your interest in preserving a spot in the class.
