Free Computer Software Classes
in Floyd late August through Fall 2012

The Jacksonville Center for the Arts will be offering a 2nd session of the Floyd Employability Enhancement Training Program (FEEP) starting in late August and continuing through Fall 2012. The program, funded by a federal grant administered by the U.S. Department of Labor, is free to all participants.
The FEEP program offers classes in Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, Access, Publisher, and Outlook and in Adobe Creative Suite -Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and Acrobat Professional. Classes in Customer Service Skills and Work Readiness/Employment Search Training will also be available.
The FEEP program provides training to enhance employability for those unemployed and those employed who need advanced skills. The program does prioritize those participants who are in the greatest need in relationship to employment. FEEP offers small business owners and artisans support in managing and marketing their businesses through computer software training.
Classes will be held at the Floyd Adult Learning Center and the Jesse Peterman Memorial Library with lab time available outside class hours.
1.) Complete Class/Schedule Form to help us determine class scheduling needs. You can return this promptly while completing #2)
2.) Complete Participation Application as required by the Dept. of Labor to assess participant eligibility and for program assessment.
3.) RETURN asap Class/Schedule Form and Participation form to The Jacksonville Center. Drop off or mail:

*The Floyd Employability Enhancement Pilot Project- Intermediate and Advanced Small Business Skills Training is supported by $150,000 in Federal funds, which is 90% of the total program costs.
